SEPA Payments

Cashless and speedy

SEPA is the quickest, safest, and most cost-effective method for sending euros across international borders. Both for people and organizations, it offers security and makes it easier to move money between SEPA zone countries.

The recipient’s international bank account number (IBAN) and the amount you wish to transfer must both be entered. Your transaction is immediately complete once you click “Send.”

What’s SEPA?

The European Union (EU) developed the single euro payments area (SEPA), to unify the way cashless payments are made between euro member states.

Consisting of 36 European countries, the SEPA zone is a single euro payments market, which allows for simplified cross-border money transfers at reduced transaction rates.

Full list of the EU countries that are part of the SEPA Zone:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta,
Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, the Vatican City,
and the United Kingdom are not part of the European Union (EU).

*Please note that the UK is no longer a member of the EU or the EEA, but it is still a member of SEPA.

The pros of using SEPA Payments:

A global customer base

SEPA has made it considerably simpler to connect with a larger global audience. Almost €120 billion in electronic payments are made annually by more than 500 million people in the SEPA zone. SEPA enables you to expand your clientele and reach markets you might not have otherwise been able to.

Freedom and ease of use

You may use your lone VP account to manage all incoming and outgoing transactions in a safer and quicker manner, whether you’re at home, abroad, or on the go. You can complete a number of tasks, like sending money overseas or purchasing online, in only one working day.

Low fees

Tired of high international transaction costs? SEPA payments make international money transfers as rapid and easy as domestic ones. SEPA regulations have made transactions inside the zone far simpler and less expensive, giving clients the chance to concentrate on the most urgent issues of their organization.
